I’ve got some great interviews heading your way including one I did recently with my friend Geoff Grist from Sydney. Geoff’s book Sold Over Market is jumping off bookstore shelves and he’ll be telling us how he uses his book to attract leads and pre-sell himself to potential clients before turning up at a listing pres. (very cool idea)
I caught up with the amazing Emmy Thies last week. Emmy’s smashing it at Coronis Real Estate in Toowoomba Queensland. I know you’ll love Emmy’s terrific energy. I was buzzing after our session with all the cool info and ideas she shared so look out for that.
This week, I’m speaking with San Fransisco based Real Estate tech entrepreneur, Brad Inman. Brad is the founder of a number of tech start ups but is probably best known for his deep knowledge of the north American real estate industry and in particular how technology is changing almost every aspect the game.
An Interview with Marcus Chiminello
Melbournne’s inner south eastern suburbs is home to some of the finest properties in the country, and if you don’t know suburbs like Armadale, Hawthorn, Malvern, Toorak, South Yarra, Glen Iris and Camberwell, they are filled with leafy tree lined avenues and street after street of multi million dollar homes.
And wherever you have luxury high end real estate, you have lots and lots of agents all trying to compete for a slice of the market.
In a recent interview with John McGrath that comes out later this month, I asked him why he thought the Melbourne property market was so hard to crack for the larger real estate groups from interstate.
John says one of the reasons is because Melbourne real estate agents are very well connected with their clients and, in his view are some of the best in the world.
I think Marcus Chiminello from Marshall White is at the very top of that list.
There’s a lot of takeaway gold in this session today but listen for how Marcus has recently put a tighter focus on his list and how he’s built a team and forged business partnerships to grow his personal brand in this super competitive market.
In their own words. Here’s an Elite Agent article featuring Marcus and business partner, James Tostevin.
Marcus will spend up to $30,000 on an individual marketing campaign. Top agents know that great images get great prices.
