In this week’s episode, I tracked down guru webmaster Joe Kashurba to give us the heads up on what we should be doing to build the best site AND drive traffic to it.

We just got back from Orlando Florida and Podfest 2017.
This was a pretty awesome because it’s smaller, more intimate event with some of the best Podcasters in the business.
But these guys are also entrepreneurs and i was surprised at the number of non Podcasters attending. When I asked them why they were there, they told me they’d heard about the event and some of the people attending. They wanted to make connections and learn more about podcasting and marketing in general.
In the 2 years I’ve been hosting this podcast, more and more agents have asked me how they go about setting up their own.
The personal marketing mileage and credibility you can create from a Podcast is nothing short of amazing. But the big issue is learning all the new skills required to make it happen.
There is equipment, production, building the website, setting up blogs and a hundred other small details that are essential to bring everything together.
Then you have to decide on content!
It took me a full year to set up and get started and that was after making some big and very costly mistakes.
But the good news is that I’ll soon be launching Top Agents Radio to take the hassle, guesswork and time investment out of producing your own radio show. It’s a platform exclusively for agents.
Together with my very talented producer Joel, I’ll be setting everything so all you need to do is record your regular show and to get you started, I’ll be interviewing you.
And here’s the thing: If someone isn’t doing a podcast in your area already, it’s only a matter of time because podcasting is booming both in number of shows and listenership.
Imagine your own show on iTunes, Stitcher or where good podcasts are available.
Imagine your own podcast website and blog where you can share new interviews and articles on Facebook or twitter.
And imagine the publicity and viral marketing spread you’ll enjoy when you interview an influencer in your area like a sports star, business person, the police chief or Mayor.
You see, when you connect with the influencers, they’ll be sharing the content with people in their sphere and you become an influencer too and you connections quickly multiply.

Today’s guest is a very successful entreprenuer who builds awesome websites.
As you might have worked out by now, I love websites. In fact, I keep a stable of more than 150 domain names looking for a home.
A great website is like a beautiful store front but at at fraction of the price and it’s open 24 hours a day.
You don’t need to sign an expensive lease, pay for services like water and power (or hydro as we call it here) and you don’t need to find staff.
Whatever your business, online marketing continues to explode. Perhaps that’s why so many retail outlets and shopping malls are struggling.
Joe Kashurba started his first business in high school. Today he runs a highly successful web design studio and works with clients around the world, setting up websites for everyone from tech startups to large manufacturing companies. Joe graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Information Science and a minor in Computer Science. So he’s kind of a creative nerd.
