TAP 104. Why Facebook is PERFECT for agents. An Interview with Tiffany Wilson

Want to leverage the power of the elephant in the marketing room? Real estate media marketing maven Tiffany Wilson, sets the record straight and shows you hopw to make it happen!

I’m going to change up the format this year and kick each episode off with the Top Agents News!

If you’re a regular listener to the show, you’ll be familiar with Jigglar. If you’re not, Jigglar is an idea I came up with a couple of years ago to help agents create marketing flyers, letters, social media posts and even stationary.

If you want to have a play and get creative, you can check it out at Jigglar.com

January 16 2018 is our official launch date and I’m looking forward to jumping in and helping the support team out wherever I can.

My business partner at LockedOn and Bestagents, Aaron Shiner has been working with the beta version of Jigglar for the past few months and he believes he’s saving up to $2000 a month in graphics costs. He uses Jigglar to create and download all his property marketing flyers, the all-important just listed, just sold flyers reports plus a wide range of prospecting material.

Long story short, we identified a huge problem in our industry and fixed it. I’m really proud to be a founder and can’t wait for you to experience the very latest creative and marketing technology for our industry.

The developer team at LockedOn haven’t really taken a break over Christmas. They’re putting the finishing touches to version 2 which is already super popular with agents. If you’re a version 1 LockedOn agent then site tight, as soon as the new version is 100% we’ll be helping you swing over your contacts so you can experience real estate’s best software.

I’ve had a bunch of emails about the 2 podcast episodes I published late last year called Who Killed The Agent

This all happened because I became a little obsessed with the murder of fellow real estate podcaster and agent Simon Gianinni in a Toronto restaurant last Sept.

In the middle of the Toronto International Film Festival, one of the biggest and busiest in the world, in a crowed restaurant on a busy Saturday night, a hit man walks in a shoot Ginanni four times.

This isn’t Chicago, where there were some 650 murders last year, this is Toronto Canada. Ranked up the top near Melbourne as one of the world’s most livable cities.

There were more than 70 murders in Toronto last year and more than 30 remain unsolved.

I know the episodes have been popular because I’ve had a number of emails from listeners sharing theories but so far, the Toronto Police, along with local media have gone completely dark with little or no news being released since September. But rest assured, if there’s a break in the case, I’ll let you know.

I follow a Podcast call the Good Life Project. It’s fun while I’m walking or when I’m bored to death lying in bed at 4am.

This month, host Jonathon Fields published his first show for the year titled, To Succeed at Anything, Do This. I won’t go into any more detail except to say that I got some excellent takeaways and I’d like to recommend the episode as a great way to start 2018.

I’ve just spent the last couple of hours tweaking 3 letters and emails especially made to connect with potential sellers in your area early in the year and the next couple of weeks is the perfect time to get them out. I’ll also give you the number 1 cold lead generating flyer for the last 12 months as reported by agents and show you how to customize it, download it and print it for free.

To get the letters and number 1 lead generating flyer, all I’m asking is that you go to iTunes or Stitcher, give me 5 stars and leave a short review. Then email me and let me know and I’ll send you the link to download items as promised to help you get your year off to a flying start?

And finally, I’ve uploaded my very best training tools and ideas to our dedicated training website, TopAgentsStore.com You’ll find everything you need to make this year your best and most ideas are things you can use today to win more listings make more sales and get more out of every day.

Well every time I put Facebook in an email subject line I get a better open rate and top agents are increasingly turning to the social channels because they can build a community and closely target their intended audience with a relevant message and measure response almost immediately.

So back in the day, it used to be free, but now, like everything else, you get what you pay for.

Each week I’m approached by digital marketing experts to be featured as a guest on this show but I’m pretty careful whom I let through the gate.

My first thoughts are what you, my listener will think. Or perhaps, more importantly, what you need.

Is my guest adding value and can they offer something you can leverage today to grow your business and your brand?

My guest today is Tiffany Wilson from Sydney digital agency Chronicle Republic. I’m always happy to promo someone who can help listeners and Tiffany brings her A game to today’s show.

She’s not just in the digital marketing space, she’s in the real estate digital marketing space and that’s the difference and why this is an important episode.
