This 56-year-old agent is cleaning up in his area. Check out how he’s doing it.
If you’ve been listening to my podcasts and thinking real estate success is all about the tech savvy 30 and 40 somethings out there listing and selling up a storm producing results so good you have to count the zeros, well here is something a little different.
For 57 year old Ray Rounds from Geelong Victoria, 2015 was a year to remember. As the senior member in a young and dynamic team, Ray was named salesperson of the year for rising star Hayswinkle Real Estate, headed up by partners Daniel Hays and Michelle Winckle.
He had his best year in real estate, as you’ll hear in my forthcoming interview and has invested cleverly to build his personal brand and local following in a very competitive real estate market.
Last year, I worked with Ray to help him become the author of his own book.
He tells me one newspaper ad (the pink one) produced 6 listings and sales earning more than $60,000 in GCI.
A quick look at the numbers shows a return on marketing investment of more than 1400%
You’ll find out more in my interview coming out in the next few weeks but I wanted to share Ray’s success and show all you boomers out there that this has nothing to do with age and everything to do with attitude.
You won’t meet a more genuine bloke with a passion for property and his loyal group of clients.
I will soon be opening up the Real Estate Authors website so agents can order the book and start using it just like Ray to get a real return on their marketing investment and boost their personal brand.
